This splendid four-panel Suzani from Shakhrisyabz – the green city – shows large red circular, star-shaped and fan-shaped blossoms, densely surrounded by vines resembling creepers. The border section is extremely wide, leaving a comparatively narrow field. – Several lost areas and stitched tears, backed with canvas.
