Many of the Suzanis made in the city of Ura Tube north east of Samarkand show extremely dense designs using a plethora of different floral motifs. The same applies to this magnificent Suzani; its field design of ascending plants appears like a wild garden in abundant flower. The main motifs seen in the wide border are fan-shaped blossoms, each surrounded by two slim leaves of circular shape. – Slight damage to the corners, otherwise in good condition. Backed with fabric.
