The field displays a dense floral repeat. Green leaves, delicate twigs and small diamonds with red outlines provide a framework that is filled with diverse flowers of various shapes and colours. The many purple circular blossoms, each containing an eight-pointed star, are a rare feature. – Except for slight signs of age and a number of minor stains, this Bokhara Suzani is well preserved. An old cotton fabric backing is attached to the reverse; the sides are backed with a strip of an ikat fabric.
